Mikolaskova

Kristyna Mikolaskova is a 25-years-old product and graphic designer from Liberec, Czech Republic. She graduated from a Secondary School of Applied Arts and Vocational College of Jablonec nad Nisou in 2014. She is studying in studio Concept-Object-Meaning led by professor Eva Eisler at the Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design in Prague.

She has been awarded the Best of Design prize at Czech Design Week for the Dione lamp. Because of this she also participated in Milan Design Week 2018 and 2019. She prefers pure shapes, simple lines and emphasises emotion in her works. She likes to create objects which have effect on a human mind. Her work is influenced by her interest in graphic design and she tries to apply it to the products themselves.
